About

With over 150 registered members, SWCC has 3-4 organized rides for both road and gravel cycling throughout the week as well as special organized rides out of town, with our sponsor Trek Bicycle Houston, and in support of many local cycling events such as Kate's Ride. Weekday rides generally occur in the evening with morning rides available every Saturday and Sunday. All rides are weather dependent and posted on the SWCC Strava club page.

Rider experience levels range from serious weekend rider all the way to the racing level, and the wealth of knowledge shared amongst the group is tremendous.

Pacing Guidelines

"A Group - race pace" averages approximately 22+ mph over the course of the ride

"B Group" averages approximately 20-21 mph over the course of the ride

"Bella & Bella Fella" and "Riders in Recovery" average approximately 18-19 mph over the course of the ride; group size depends on the number of people who show up

SWCC ride and route information can be found on the SWCC Strava club page
